Peter Funk - Owner/Manager/Pilot 

After obtaining a commercial pilot's license Peter's agricultural aviation career started in 1974 with special flight training in Greeley, Colorado. After completing the training he started spraying in the summer of 1974. Peter and Linda started Dale Air Services in Morris in 1977. Peter has completed 33 years of accident free flying and now spends most of his time managing the company. Peter's other roles have included serving on the board of directors of the Valley Credit Union in Morris, serving as president of both the Manitoba Aerial Applicators Association and the Canadian Aerial Applicators Association.  Hobbies include spending time with family and Motorcycles.

Linda Funk - Owner/Office Manager
Linda's agricultural career began in Morden in 1975 where she worked for an aerial spraying service operated by Ben Wiebe. In 1977 Linda and Peter started Dale Air Services. Linda has performed every possible duty (other than flying) and now has 32 years of experience in the crop protection industry.

Debbie Clace - Accounting
Debbie has performed various tasks at Dale Air. Some of them include flagging, cleaning aircraft windshields and pumping gas. Since Debbie began full time office work she has become our expert on rebate programs. She manages all of the various rebate and discount programs offered by the chemical companies. Although we promote the idea of choosing the right product for the job first, Debbie will make sure you take advantage of any discounts that might be available to you. Debbie also looks after taking orders and ensuring that pre booked orders are scheduled for the right days. You can count on Debbie for a cheerful reception. Debbie is married to Kevin. They have one son Ethan.

Nicole Funk - Receptionist

Nicole spent several summers working for Dale Air Services Ltd during her high school years.  After completing high school Nicole spent two years in PEI attending Holland College where she was enrolled in the Culinary Arts program.  For her mid term practical training she worked at 529 Wellington in Winnipeg.  After training Nicole spent some time working at Burkes as well as Wilsons Grill in Morris.  We're happy to say she decided to come back to Dale Air Services Ltd.  Nicole's primary duty is office work however as with most of our staff she performs many duties.

David Friesen - Pilot

Before coming to Dale Air, David operated his own aerial crop spraying business in the Steinbach/Landmark area. We were especially interested in David because of his reputation for hard work and excellent service.  David has been a very important part of Dale Air Services Ltd since that day.  David is married to Anna and they have 4 children.  David and his family live on a nice river front property near the airport.

 John Dueck - Pilot 

We're happy to welcome John to our team.  John has extensive experience flying Ag planes.

Henry Thiesen - Pilot

Henry has flown for us off and on for quite a few years and we’re happy to see him back this year.  Henry and his wife Tina live in Rosenort where he operates a maintenance facility.  Henry specializes in repairing tractors and combines and semi trailers although he seems to have the talent to fix anything.  Henry also has his own private runway in Rosenort.

We're happy to welcome Ray back to Dale Air. Ray was part of our team some 20 years ago. He left to go full time farming. After farming for many years Ray went to work for Manitoba Crop Insurance. Since today's farming practices require so much expertise in this area, Ray's extensive knowledge of crops and crop scouting are a real asset. Ray's primary roll deals with Agronomy however he also fulfills many other duties.  Ray spent many years as a volunteer firefighter and served as Fire Chief for the past few years. Ray and his wife Bernice live in St. Jean and they have 2 daughters and one Son In Law.

Kevin Clace - Pit Crew Manager
Kevin joined Dale Air in 1997. Kevin is principal of the Rosenort School however we put him back to work during what is supposed to be his summer holidays.  Kevin doesn't let any grass grow under his feet.  His other interests include mission work where he has helped organize and serve on a mission trip to Brazil.  While in Brazil he worked on a housing project for street children.  Kevin has also made numerous mission trips to part of the Third World in Asia.  Kevin serves on the board of directors for the Morris Youth Drop In Center and helps out at the Center in his spare time.  Kevin is married to Debbie and they have one son, Ethan. 

David Bruneau - Ground Spraying Operations Manager
We are pleased to welcome David Bruneau back to Dale Air. David worked for us several years ago and was doing well until we hired a young lady by the name of Danielle as our agronomist. It didn’t take long before they had eyes for each other. To make a long story short they got married and both moved to other jobs. David, Danielle and their 3 girls live in St. Jean. Fortunately for us, David decided to come back to work for Dale Air. David's main duty is to manage the ground spraying operation however David is a licensed agronomist and helps out in this area also.

Dale Lehmann - Pit Crew

Our relationship with the Lehmann family began with Dale's grandfather Helmut who farms in the Morris area.  Since then Dale's father Rick has taken over most of the family farm.  Dale helps out on the farm when he's not busy in high school.  We're happy to say that our relationship with the Lehmann family is now continuing with Dale as part of our pit crew

Anna Friesen - Meals

Anna has one of the most important jobs at Dale Air.  We've discovered that having a nice hot meal together is a great way for our team to relax and enjoy each other's company.  Anna is a busy lady with many interests.  She enjoys reading, gardening, sewing, working with children and doing volunteer work, but cooking is her specialty.  Everyone here looks forward to her meals.  Anna is married to David and they have 4 children.

Monica Friesen - Housekeeping

The appearance of the office often says something about the business.  Monica helps us provide a better image by keeping our offices clean.  This also creates a better work environment for our team.  Monica also has many other interests.  She enjoys writing, painting, drawing and acting in school plays.  She also like to go flying with David, her Dad.
